Int. order is:
Rats - 12
Tharwin - 11
Soolee - 7
Narson - 17
The gnome looks to the creatures and blinks, whipping out a flute from you're not sure where. He begins to play. The rat on the left stops suddenly and simply listens, swaying to the beat. the second one continues on to bite at the monk, its maw dripping with saliva. The jaws stop short of Tharwin's leg as it scrambles to defend itself against the intruders.

He was startled by the ferocity of the rats at first but as Narson lulled one into a docile state with a whistle it was obvious that these things are little more than Vermin.
As the rat bites forward, falling short with jaws foaming. Tharwin raises an eyebrow and his smile sets into firm concentration. Quickly twisting his body to the side he hooks his front leg into the rat, heel driving into the side of its head. Then as it reels back he shifts his weight onto his back foot and with a sharp snap of the leg, drives his boot into the face of the creature.

The monk drives his limbs into the creature, a hollow crack being heard before it drops to the ground, limp and smelling.
Soolee

Soolee rushes in to engage the rat closes to her. Hateing rats with a passion and not sure what kind these are Soolee loses focus and almost drops her sword. She quickly regains her composer and gets ready to attack, again.
Att: Rolled a one.

Narson continues to placate the creature, which idly sits there, listening.

Knowing this foe is near enough finished and with Soolee brandishing her blade more than competently. Tharwin senses this battle is over and disengages from combat. He sits down next to the dead rat, legs crossed, meditating.
He calmly speaks out, just loud enough for Soolee to hear. "My lady, this battle is yours to finish, give it a quick death."

Tharwin comes out of his meditative state to find the rat still docile and very much alive. "Soolee, do not prolong this creatures torment! I shall finish this" Tharwin says angrily.
He moves over to the rat quickly then drives his fist sharply into the rats temple, a loud crack denotes the end of the creature...hopefully.

The rat gurgles and falls down, dead. Narson finishes his sonnet and smiles.
"Well now, wasn't that quick...."
