Thank you guys for suggesting the second and third I have notated above. I had to use the first one because all my books are still being sent to me.

I had a couple of questions that are pretty simple.
I get two 0 level spells and two level 1 spells. I want to get both distant spells and spells I can use through my weapon. Maybe one of each per level.
For level 0, I am choosing acid splash, but I do not know whether I should get ray of frost or touch of fatigue (touch).
For level 1, I brought the choices down to these four:
Chill Touch (touch) or Shocking Grasp (touch)
Color Spray or True Strike
What would you suggest (to anyone)?

Hey, looking him over right now...and...
There's a 10 items limit (max price 100gp for each)
Choose one magical item (max price 300gp)
For your spells;
Ray of frost is an aggressive damage spell (but your weapon is much more powerful), and touch of fatigue can do something your weapon cannot, which is fatiguing your opponent...my choice... touch of fatigue.
The same goes for chill touch and color spray...my choice...color spray.
And this one shocking grasp and true strike...my choice...true strike.
You have a pretty powerful weapon, which you have even spend a feat on, so no reason to fire petty rays, attacking with chilly or shocking hands... :)

I took off the last of the items. i don't know what mag items I can get under 300gp. I will try to look online. BTW I am on the Barrok's Chat if you want to chat at a faster rate there. For my skills, I had 20 points. When I was using a different online char creation form it counted my points as twenty while this one says fourteen. :(

I had the same problem with magic Item, I ended up using an augment crystal out of the magic item compendium book. Normally I would recommend the crystal of arcane steel for casters, it gives a +1 bonus on your weapon when casting a spell or spell like ability through it, but thats 500gp, If you have access to the book it does list abuch of one time use magical items under 300gp. As for spells, means you are using a chain whip try to stick with spells that are touch range, that way you can cast through a weapon. That way you will do normal damage plus what ever affect or damage the spell does.

Potions are always nice...and in your case...possibly a scroll?

To be honest, I still do not have any of my books still. I think scrolls would do well. I would like a whirlwind augmentation stone on my weapon! But I can't decide because I have no book. Any suggestions? Oh, and I think I will change my acid splash to disrupt undead based on your earlier comments. I will make the changes (except for the magical item at this moment until we can get that sorted out) before I go on over to my prologue.

Here's a few suggestions for your magic item;
A Least Crystal of Return (300 gp); its now considered a free action to draw this weapon. (a good alternative to taking Quick Draw)
A Least Crystal of Illumination (100 gp); Your weapons sheds bright light in a 5 ft. radius, and shadowy illumination for 5 ft. beyond that. (A good alternative to carrying a million torches!)
A Least Crystal of Adamant Weaponry (300 gp); The hardness of your weapons improves by +2, which basically means that your weapons becomes more difficult to sunder!
A Note on Crystals: The good thing about these crystals, is that they can be taken and used with a different weapon, if you so desire at some point, though the weapon must be of masterwork quality.
A Potion of Invisibility (300 gp); always a nice one-use magic item!
A Potion of Bull's Strength (300 gp); because you are a warrior, and Strength is important to you, could also have been a very nice gift from your master. To be used carefully!
An Oil of Magic Weapon (50 gp); because more often than not, you have to use a magic weapon to bypass damage reduction, and this is very effective!
As for Scrolls, look over you spell list and pick on that you think is cool and useful.

WOW! Great stuff there! I can only take one? lol. Well there were a few that I would feel I could see the master giving Grey. With the oil, his master could have said instead of just using regular oil from now on, go ahead and use this oil of magic weapon. But instead he says it is cheap enough for Grey to purchase later when he has money to spend on this item over and over, but for now he would rather present a more long-lasting gift--same with the potion of bull's strength. He finally pondered on the crystals he had obtained.
In the end, the master knew how he always was able to strike before Grey. Noticing this weakness, he decided to give Grey a lifelong present that one day may save his life.
Th master surprised Grey by taking his weapon so subtly when he was in his studies (the master knew he got caught up in thoughts at times) and inserted a Least Crystal of Return in the hilt of Grey's MW Spiked Chain.
The rest of the story is in the other section.
