At first glance a Greater Air Traveler appears to be a small thunderhead, or dark cloud. These ungainly colossal flyers, or rather floaters are shaped like a large ballon nearly 20 feet wide, 25 feet tall and over one hundred feet long. its shape comes form having a matrix of many sack-like organs covering the upper portion of its body. On the Greater Air Traveler's frontal section are its mouth and two large, powerful, 40 foot long tentacle "hands". Over 80% of their volume is composed of these sack-like, hollow organs that can be purged of air, with out loosing their shape enabling the Greater Air Traveler to float. On either side of the Air Traveler are three giant flippers, simmiler to that of a whale's. These flippers help propel the beast and control its direction of movement. The flippers are spaced equidistantly along the long axis of the Greater Air Traveler. The back of the Greater Air Traveler are two "Tails", side by side, and tipped with long, sharp stingers.

The tentacle arms end in 7 ten foot long lesser tentacle "hands", each lesser tentacle is covered on the inside of the "hand" with dozens of sharp, gripping spines. If the Greater Air Traveler makes a sucessful attack on another creature, that creature must make a Ref save or Str check (DC=Air Travelers attack roll), or become stuck on the spines, and take constriction damage each following round. Up to one Huge creature can be so entrapped per tentacle "hand". A trapped creature can escape artist against the Air Travelers melee attack roll, this frees the creature form the tentacle .

The flippers on the side of the Greater Air Traveler can reach any creature within 25 feet of the monster. A creature can only be struck with up to two flippers at a time. Each flipper deals 4D8+17 points of damage and similar to the tentacle they can trap a creature by pinning it between its flipper and body, a creature so pinned will automatically take 2D8+10 points per round of constriction damage.

The Greater Air Traveler has two tails each nearly 150 feet long, in tandem each tipped with a large set of stingers. Any creature struck by a tail must make a Fort save (DC 35) or become paralyzed for 3D8 days. A second Fort save (DC 29) must be made the next turn or the creature stung becomes paralyzed for 4D8 hours.

A Greater Air Traveler is immune to disintegrate spells and takes one half damage form all fire, sonic, and force attacks,

When properly trained, and/or pacified these beasts can act as transports, and when fitted with a large harness, can lift nearly 100 tonnes.

Greater Air Travelers are large Air Travelers who have lived bound 150years.

This monster's stats are FINISHED!

Are they actually made of gaseous substances? In which case I think they would be in the ELEMENTAL subtype.

Blimps? You mean like gas-filled creatures?

No I was refering to your comment about blimps. Blimps are airfilled balloons, and if you describe a creature as a blimp, that means it shares similar properties with them.

Exactly what I said. Gasfilled creatures. :D

I'd agree, it'd be difficult to move when puffed up with air inside. But then again, if these gas filled sacks were pierced, I can just envision and imagine them deflating and blowing about.

Yeah, that simplifies things. I'm just speculating on the humor of the "what if". ;)

The scarry thing is that Disintigrate wouldn't bug it that much
Why's that? If they are living creatures it affects them as a whole normally...unless they are not in which case it affects only a 10- foot cube of nonliving matter...

Yeah I just said that. But its only a 10ft. cube if the target ISN'T a living creature, otherwise it just affects the creature as a whole.
