I think this falls under the category of an [evil] spell, so add that after transmutation.

Make the range short: 25 ft + 5 ft/2 levels (honestly, I would think you would have learned that part of the spell template by now)

It is such a nasty spell . . . I would move it to 7th as it is much worse than being turned to stone.
