This appears to be a normal suit of half-plate armour, and has all of the stats common to armour of that type. However, when the wearer notices a spider, whether a common house spider an inch across or a gigantic spider 20ft tall, the armour begins to shake uncontrollably as if terribly afraid.
This juddering causes the wearer a -2 on any melee attack rolls, -4 on ranged attack rolls and the wearer suffers -10ft movement, but the continual juddering actually makes the wearer harder to hit, giving a +2 to AC. The effects continue until all spiders seen by the wearer are slain or otherwise rendered incapacitated, and the armour is impossible to remove until still. A Remove Fear spell will stop the juddering, but only until another spider is spotted.
