So Immediate Actions are back and they are pretty much the same except there are three ways to get an immediate action; immediate interrupt, immediate reaction and readied action.
An immediate interrupt allows you to act before an opponents action. Rogues get to do this more often than others from what I have noticed. Immediate reactions are pretty cool too. They allow a character to react to something after the fact. There is an ability that a savage berserker has that lets them hit someone after being hit themselves as an immediate reaction.
Readied actions are usually immediate interrupts, actually I think they are always immediate interrupts unless of course you say I am going to shoot them if I get hit with an arrow (which doesn't make sense).
You may only take one immediate action per round (between two of your turns).
Opportunity attacks are a little different because they are more like free actions but you may only perform one opportunity action per turn. So every time someone or an enemy has a turn you have a chance to make an opportunity actions. A warlord might grant his allies chances to take opportunity actions. Opportunity attacks are basically the old Attacks of Opportunity.
