Perfect World
Enchantment [mind affecting]
Level: Sor/Wiz 9, Druid 9
Components: V, S, M, XP
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: Long 400' + 40' per level
Area: 1 mile + 1/4 mile per level (emanation)
Duration: 1 hour per level
Saving Throw: Will (negates)
Spell Resistance: Yes (negates)
The caster enchants an area to become a wonderful paradise. Immediately the land becomes fertile and lush grass grows, water is pure and fresh, fruit blossoms from every tree and bush. Though there is something more entwined in the spell, all within the area feel contented at the beauty and will not wish to leave. They will fight anyone who tries to destroy their paradise or take them away from it, to the death. In such circumstances the creature gains +2 to attack, damage and saving throws, also whilst fighting they have the Improved Critical feat even if they do not have the prerequisites for the feat. Many settlements have been created by using this spell and perminancy in conjunction as it helps to create a growing source of labour for the caster.

The caster is immune to the mind effects of their spell.

Material Component: a pure sapphire worth 5000 gp
XP cost: 1000xp

Does this spell need a bit more to it?

Perhaps a bit more mechanics behind the "want to defend it", and also a morale bonus to all attacks made while defending the territory inside the range?

Hmm... a what kind of +2 bonus? I'd say morale or sircumstantial. Also, for the area, it'd be 1 square mile, not just one mile. *grin*

I'll make it a mile (emanation) so it has a nice radius - probable give them it as a circumstance bonus....

I have altered it for the required changes - Thanks Cbob
