Kurogo's Boots of Impressive Agility
Why just dodge when you can dodge with style?
A stylish pair of black leather boots with gold buckles. The boots are finely crafted and magically resize themselves to fit each individual wearer, from Tiny to Large sizes. The boots glow with a faint dweomer when scanned for magic.
The boots give a +3 to Charisma based skill checks and grants an inherent +3 dodge-type bonus to AC. The wearer is unable to be flanked or caught flat-footed by any less than a 12th level Rogue. When successfully dodging an attack, the boots cause their wearer to dodge in a visually appealing or impressive fashion, with a great flare and style that makes them look good in doing so. If the wearer has the feat Snatch Arrows or Throw Anything, then any snatched or hurled projectile is likewise nabbed or tossed in an aesthetically noteworthy manner.
Any intelligent being seeing the stylish dodge, catch, or throw, including the original attacker, must make a Will save (DC 20 + Wearer’s Charisma Mod) or be 'Impressed'. If any persons making the Will save roll a 5 or less, they immediately stop all actions and applaude, cheer, or otherwise praise the wearer's nimble action for 1d4 rounds.
The wearer gains an extra +2 bonus to all Charisma checks involving Impressed persons. Any persons who are Impressed by the wearer are inclined to think admirably of him and his abilities, hold respect for him, and generally find him to be someone to hold in a high regard, even if doing so grudgingly. This effect is permanent and can only be undone if an Impressed person witnesses the wearer perform a critical failure (rolling a 1 on a d20) in any action.
