Kurogo’s Fae Helmet
A well-polished helmet crafted of a smooth, unknown metal that shimmers various shades of green in direct light. Mysteriously, the Helmet is often found at the base of trees, hanging from a branch somewhere, or lying amongst a bed of flowers. It bears stylized carvings of pixies and other such faerie beings with mischievous grins about its surface. The helmet feels far lighter than it looks and counts as a +1 Steel Helmet without increasing percentage of Spell Failure or encumbrance at all. The Helmet magically resizes itself to fit any size creature capable of wearing a helmet, though only non-Evil alignments may safely wear it.
Any Evil-aligned being donning the helmet may make a Sense Motive check (DC 15) to sense a vengeful intent from the helmet itself. Should the Evil-aligned being not remove the helmet within 2 rounds of donning it, the helmet will magically shrink itself by 80% its present size, instantly killing the wearer as their head is crushed within.
