Kurogo’s Rings of Serenity
A set of ten finely crafted spiral ringlets, each of well-polished silver with a shard of an unknown metal inlaid into their face. Each individual ringlet has its own name and special traits, fitting onto the fingers of any medium-sized creature with enough digits; while the ringlets work individually, they are most powerful when the entire set is collected. The abilities of the ringlets stack on each other, both positive and negative.
These ringlets are technically a single item, thus they defy the standard rule of 1 magical ring per hand, allowing a single person to wear all 10 pieces at once. The abilities of the ringlets also work if the pieces are divided among several persons.
-Haunted Leader-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +2 to all Charisma based skill checks/saves as well as +1 to all Initiative rolls. However, the wearer suffers -2 to all Diplomacy checks based on their original unaffected score.
-Loyal Hand-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +2 to all saves versus an affect that would frighten, intimidate, or stun them. Also, the wearer is granted a free Weapon Proficiency. The wearer is granted an additional attack per round when worn in unison with 'Soaring Leaf'.
-Soaring Leaf-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +3 to all Dexterity based skill checks as well as +5 to all Ride/Drive checks. The wearer likewise gains an additional +2 to all Concentration checks needed while riding/driving. The wearer is granted a +1 to Initiative when worn in unison with Loyal Hand.
-Rebel Hero-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +2 to all attack rolls and +3 to Intimidate checks, as well as an Exotic Weapon proficiency. However, the wearer suffers -3 to all Diplomacy checks based on their original unaffected score.
-Little Sister-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +5 to all Craft Item, Use Device, Use Magical Device, Use Rope, and Disarm Trap skill checks. The wearer is granted a +1 to Base Attack Bonus when worn in unison with 'Worrisome Brother'.
-Warm Companion-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +3 to all Charisma based skill checks/saves and may ignore the negative to Diplomacy caused by 'Haunted Leader' when worn in unison.
-Wise Preacher-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +2 to all Knowledge: Religion skill checks as well as reducing the negative Diplomacy of 'Rebel Hero' by 1 when worn in unison. The wearer is also granted +2 to all Constitution based saves. The wearer may ignore the negative to Diplomacy caused by 'Rebel Hero' when worn in unison.
-Worrisome Brother-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +2 to all Heal skill checks and +2 to all Knowledge: Healing checks. The wearer is also granted a +1 to attack rolls when worn in unison with 'Dancing River'. However, the wearer suffers a -1 to Charisma based checks when worn in unison with 'Little Sister' based on their original unaffected score.
-Dancing River-
The wearer of this ringlet is granted +3 to all Intelligence/Wisdom based skill checks/saves, +3 to Perfom: Dance skill checks, and gains Uncanny Dodge. However, the wearer automatically fails all saving throws against mind-affected spells/abilities unless worn in unison with 'Worrisome Brother'. If worn in unison, the wearer instead takes -3 to all saves against mind-affecting spells/abilities.
-Steadfast Firefly-
The wearer of this ringlet is able to Summon a Colossal-sized Construct vehicle four times per week with a Hardness of 20 and 1000 HP. The Construct vanishes exactly 24 hours after being summoned, though it will always force itself to land safely before vanishing. The Construct may be piloted only by the wearer of 'Soaring Leaf' with a Ride/Drive check (DC 15) to do so. It is capable of perfect flight at a rate of 500 ft. per round and is capable of bearing up to 100 tons of weight. Within the Construct are enough individual rooms and supplies to house/nourish up to 10 persons for 1 day per summoning.
The wearer may only summon the Construct when all nine other ringlets are worn in unison. Alternatively, the ringlets divided amongst several people working in chorus may also summon the Construct.
