Sun Cleanse

Level: Druid 0
Components: S, M
Casting Time: Ritual 1 day
Range: Self
Duration: NA
Saving Throw: NA

The Druid spends the day napping, and or lounging in the sun, while contemplating the healing wonders of nature. The weather needs to be perfectly clear, and the temperature must be high enough for the caster to break a sweat.

After the sun has fully set the Druid gains an additional save vs. any non-magical disease or poison running though the druid's body. This extra save has a +2 modifier.

If the disease has fully set in, or the poison has drained the druid too much he may still need further healing and rest, even if the save is made.

A cantrip that lasts a day, thats a new one on me :) Might want to chop that time down a little though, I dont know anywhere that has strong daylight constantly for 24 hours.

Maybe make it 8 hours or whatever the standard rest period for relearning spells and such is.

it does not last a day, it takes a full day to perform the rite...

I made it this way to deter druid spells from encompassing the effectiveness of a priest.

yes, I think it reflects more of the nature of druids, and shows the extra effort required to heal in the process.
