Prereq. Ranger or druid; with 10 ranks of wilderness lore
beenfit: When the character chooses this feat they must choose a land type (ie desert, mountains, forests, etc.) they gain a +5 bonus to hide when in the land type chosen.
*This feat may be taken multiple times, but must choose a different land type each time. (may not rechoose a prechosen land type.)

Agreed... most feats are made to be available to almost ALL classes, just easier for some than others. In this case, the ranks in wilderness lore should be enough...
PS; good to see you active again, SW!

I like the feat, I would make it available to anyone with the appropriate lore skill or perhaps survival.

I've used this feat allot, but without the feat, Disguise: camo, 20gp 1 hour, +1 to hide for every 2 above 10 on your check. Works ever in crowds.

With feats there are some ground rules, it would be as well to familiarise yourself with them. It saves on wear and tear.
I say all the following with no malice bud...just trying to help, I have written around 2,000 of these things in my time...good, bad and downright rubbish.
This is just in the poor category.
So
1/ Wilderness Lore? Do you mean Survival....Wilderness Lore is a 3e skill that no longer exists
2/ Camouflage is part and parcel of the 3.5 ranger special abilities
3/ The feat already exists in several incarnations.
Feats are not generally class limited, and why no barbarian...they are tribesmen in the wilderness...come on they should have access? Or rogue...if you are sensible ANYONE should be able to use camouflage..just as anyone can use a camouflage kit.
What you have here is not 'camouflage' which anyone can use, (camouflage kit is used unskilled), but a sort of wilderness hide bonus.
Thus I would alter the name to fit the requirement better...except other FEATS cover this bonus ALREADY.
You have given a higher bonus than these feats, without requiring them as prerequisites. Thats one of those rules I was talking about.
I would place the requirements more simply
Prerequisites: Survival (wilderness lore) 8+, Knowlege (nature) 8+ ranks.
This means you have to be 5th level to get the feat, AND prevents those without them as class skills getting the feat till much later level...want it available earlier, lower the numbers.
If you want to limit the thing to JUST Rangers and Rogues, which I wouldn't recommend, you add the requirement for having an animal companion.
The biggest problem is the feats that already exist, the pattern is thus
Feat Name
Improved Feat Name
Greater Feat name
The bonus generally, but not always, starts at +2 goes to +3 for imporved and ends at +4/5 at greater.
So you must check if your feat already exists either in the core or as a feat in one of the WotC books.

Or go look at the various Netbooks
Then if you are improving on an existing one you follow the set pattern.
FEATS
In this case
Skill Focus (hide) gives you a +2 to this in ANY situation
Stealthy gives you a +2 to hide and move silently in any situation
ITEMS
A masterwork camouflage kit gives you a +4
What is the point of this feat?
