Rygors City - need players

The characters have traveled to Rygors City looking for work, rest and whatever else they could find. When asking around for work they were all sent to one place: Amanda Nyhtheart a Master Wrangler who specializes in extractions, vicious animals, and collecting major bounty on the most dangerous animal(s) or person or persons of interest. They meet her after an encounter with trying to capture a goblin who escaped the jail for some serious crimes and then disappeared only to be brought back into custody after some of her friends caught up with him at a watering hole.


This game is going to be freeform all the way and I am looking for any interested players who want to rock and roll as a wrangler. Although this is all that I have at the moment, ill try to get more information up about the city and some back story on Amanda when i get the go ahead from management. if you have any questions about the game, story, characters creation or any other ideas you have, please contact me.

I will be in control of Amanda and will be helping out the game when it starts stalling out.

What type of character do I need? Ive only ever played DnD. Do you use only humans or am I able to chose a race. How do stats work? Like I said I've never played free form before.

any race you want to play is fine, and when creating your character all that i am looking for is a background of where he or she came from and what led up to coming to the city. I am also looking for what the character looks like, what kinds of weapons do they carry, their clothes if they want to get descriptive about what they wear. the general background, appearance, weapons sort of thing. when it comes to freeform, I generally do not see stats in the character description, unless the person running the game calls for it. I am not one of those people, but if you want to include some stats go ahead, but all that I am looking for is the basics and not a character who is too powerful to be played without causing problems, not only with me but with the other gamers.

Ok that will give me a good start with the write up. Do you use classes in freeform? And what kind of setting is it so I know the appropriate type of weapons, ie swords or guns? And do I post my char here or do I email it to you.

again, the bio that you write up will give whoever is reading it an idea of who the person is and generally there are no classes mentioned, think of it as optional. I do not have all the nitty gritty tied down yet, but think of a character that may need to use both fire power and the use of swords daggers and the like, different situations call for different weapons.

Working on char. quick question, is there armor of any type here or is it just standard cloths jeans, shirts and what not.

if you are going to go with armor make it as light as you can, cause you will want to move quickly. But all characters were something else before coming to the city and working for amanda as a wrangler. so think of your character of doing something else in another city, then decided to go travel and wound up in the city and is looking for work and gets directed to amanda's outfit. got it? it all depends on who your character is and what they were doing before.
