[Looking for Players] Star Wars: Slipping into Darkness

So no one's really been active in this game for a while, and I'm looking for some folks to revitalize it, as it were. We've just started chapter two, wherein the characters have been given a mission from an Imperial officer to transport "cargo" from Coruscant to another system along the Outer Rim. In addition, they have come across an Academic who has purchased a ride-along with the characters to a dustbowl of a planet on their way. The characters are now en route, and have been woken up by the alarms in their seemingly ancient ship blaring.

I decided after the Update that we'd be switching systems over to Risus, which is a bit easier and better, IMHO, for Star Wars. For a rundown on what's happened, visit the game forum (http://barroks-tower.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=110). If you're interested, or have questions, give me a shout.

Sure I love star wars, though I've never played the rpg. I never give up on a game! so you can count on me.

if its easier for you I dont mind taking over an NPC or an abandoned character...

Yeh I'd join in. But the ultimate question is are light or dark side?

Risus uses a pool of d6's to resolve actions. These are drawn from your character's Cliches, the defining aspects of your character. You can see a few of the rules changes here (http://barroks-tower.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3523). Risus, if you're not "in the know," is a free roleplaying system by S. John Ross that can be found all over the net. Google Risus RPG and you should get lotsa hits.

As far as Light/Dark side, we're currently only in the second chapter, and it's set during the beginning of the Rebellion era. Thus, there is a lack of Jedi. However, I'm probably going to give those who want it the opportunity to choose a side in a few chapters. For those that want to follow the Light, they will stay in the main game thread, but for those who want to follow the Dark, I will probably start a new thread for them.
