Any ground in the spell’s area becomes more difficult to transverse if any metal is worn by any creature in the effected area. The surrounding area of ground becomes magnetically charged and the encumbrance of all metal items is doubled in the area of the spell. Metal missiles that pass through the area have their range increments halved.
The terrain effected does not change its appearance nor is this effect detectable through normal means. Mounted creatures or those in flight can still be subject to the effects of Eorthe Shackle.
