Measuring up the little guy, I decide not knowing how it all goes, that I will let him make the first move. Full defensive

The dwarf watches Gummsh take a defensive position, and bows politely, assuming a strange stance, his legs close to the ground, knees parallel to his shoulders. He then realizes that the orc is granting him first move, and takes advantage,

The dwarf, makes a shift, then bolts to the floor of the, rolling towards you and grabbing you by the right leg (melee touch attack = 19) He then begins a grapple to wrestle you to the mat.

Grapple = 29

Make an opposed grapple check.

Watching the muscular dwarf strangely move about the ring, I watch as he suddenly bursts to my legs and grabs my right leg wrestling me to the mat. 1d20+3=13 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1575134/)

The dwarf sees your plan Gummsh, and smiles at the challenge. He wrestles around a moment, then forces you to a standstill before you can take him to the mat. (Grapple = 16)

The dwarf bears his teeth in a rather feral grin, fangs shining whitely. He whispers to you.

"A worthy opponent who is not afraid to test his mettle, I like that..."

He attempts to grapple you to the ground.

Grapple = 19

Blocking the attempt to take me down grapple (1d20+3=17) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1577681/). "I hope to show all that Grummsh is a strong leader, and I follow him with all that I am." I wink with the one eye I have.

DM Note: 17 fails and he now has you pinned Gummsh

The dwarf wiggles a moment, then lets out a hearty laugh.

"You have spirit young one, let us strengthen it.."

He attempts to keep you pinned, thus winning the match.

Grapple - 11

If you beat it you are not pinned under him, and can make a move against him.

Seeing that the dwarf has a good position, I wiggle a little and find an opening to try and break free grapple (1d20+3=17) (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1579068/) Then I try and reverse the pin myself. 1d20+3=10 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1579066/)

The dwarf feels his momentum shifting as you grab underneath his right leg and haul upwards. He takes in a quick breath and attempts to kick his leg towards your stomach, thus causing you to lose your balance.

Grapple = 24

After getting out of your attempt. He leans down, pivoting on his left foot, bringing his arms to bear your weight at the crotch and neck levels, and rolls back to attempt what is known as a "small package" style pin

Grapple - 18

Feeling the pain in my back from him rolling me up I try and extend my legs out to break the hold.1d20+3=17 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1579531/) If the hold is broke I am going to try and stand to get on even ground again. 1d20+3=8 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1579530/)

DM Note: 17 does not beat his 18, thus you are held.

The dwarf takes in a sharp breath and attempts to win with a final pinning.

Grapple = 19

Trying to get the sturdy little dwarf off balance I try one last time to break his hold. 1d20+3=11 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1580980/)

The orc manages a great heave, but the dwarf simply leans in and twists on his right foot, keeping the cleric on his back. The inn keeper rings a small gong, and some whoops and hollers go up from the viewers. The dwarf rolls off you and bows.

"that was a better effort than most, and a challenge since my adventuring days almost ten years ago. Well done young one...."

Gummsh gets 150 Xp for the effort.
