Auditor Ring

These chronite bands with an infinity symbol on them are only worn by Auditors and High Auditors. They are a mark of the what an Auditor is, a protector of time and reality. The ring wearer can communicate with another ring wearer telepathically in a 10 mile radius
Light (as per spell CL10) centred on ring 3/day
Planar Travel 1/week
If a non auditor tries to wear the ring they take 1 point of Constitution damage per round until taken off
Does not take up a magic item slot
These are made by the High Auditors and their construction has been kept secret from any mage

I would make them out of an odd and unusual blue metal that defys analysis and is virtually indestructible.

Since they are time related items, I would have them age non-auditor wearers an entire age category for each day they are worn as well as acting as a beacon for all auditor in the area. For non-living wearers (undead etc) some sort of daily increasing save of be disintegrated by the weight of years.

ALso, they should not take up a magic item "slot" allowing the auditor to still wear two other magic rings.

I have no idea what spells this would be, however, my I make a few suggestions?

Allow the wearers to be able to teleport once a day to the location of another wearer. Let's see if I can say this right so it is understood...hhmmm...

In order to teleport there, you must first make contact through the ring using the telepathy ability in it. The other wearer must acknowledge and allow the teleport, too. You can not simply <bamf> to another wearer without thier permission.

None of the ring's powers work against another wearer of the Auditor Ring, unless the wearer allows it so.

The wearer should be able to locate any non-wearer within its scope. For example, if these rings are given to Auditors in the Tower, than any other being in the Tower can be found using the ring.
(Except for other wearers of the ring.)

The rings are intelligent.
Putting on an Auditor Ring makes you an Auditor -forever-. You may not take it off without defeating the ring in a contest of wills. (And yes, its will is VERY strong. We are talking, like, you have MAJOR negative mod's to do this, unless you are a halfling. (That was put in for you, Ruxt!!! :D )
However, the ring will guide unworthy wearers to their demise.
