bandersnatch

It is time I become more active on this site, so I figured I'd see if I can start up a game here. I wouldn't start any of these before mid-may, since school will be kicking my butt shortly with research and modeling projects, but I might get to one of them during the summer.
Planescape: Scoundrels of the Blood War
Setting: PLANESCAPE, nuff said.
System: D&D, ECL ~10-12.
The premise: Characters would be part of a mercenary group that has fought in the blood war under the Baatezu. The game would obviously revolve around the Blood War, though I have more an espionage/intrigue/assassination campaign in mind, with large scale battles thrown in for fun, occasionally. At the beginning of the game you'd be on leave in Sigil. Characters would obviously be alredy quite experienced plane travelers.
Dark Sun: Slave Tribe Chronicles
Setting: Dark Sun.
System: D&D from official DS website, ECL ~6-8
Premise: After the fall of Abalach-Re the sorcerer Queen, the City state of Raam fell into chaos. Within this turmoil a group of slaves managed to free themselves and escaped into the wastelands. This would be a non-traditional DnD game, where players would have to try and get a slave tribe (of initially 40) to survive and possibly even prosper in the harsh environment of Athas. Players would still take control of characters, but through those characters, manage and direct the tribe. This game doesn't have to be about micromanaging resources, but can be if players enjoy it.
Lost Outpost
Setting: Homebrewn sci-fi. Think of a Firefly/Cowboy bebop-esque theme and mood, though I can add aliens and psionics into it if people would like a more fantastic sci-fi setting.
System: D20 modern/sci-fi, maybe SAGA if people prefered that. ~level 8-10
Premise: After the war with the Abberration the human republic splintered into waring factions and volatile galactic nations. Furthermore numerous Hyperspace gates were destroyed, and the large spacestations built on the edges of the known universe were cut off from the empires they belonged to. The game would take place on one of those space stations and the party would have its own ship, doing odd jobs in the nearby galaxy. Maybe they would get involved with in the various territorial conflicts or wars for independence, maybe not.
Fallout
Setting: Fallout
System: D20 modern, level 6-8, since the fallout RPG stopped existing
Premise: Characters could either belong to a vault, or to the brotherhood, or be lone wolves who survived the wastelands on their own. The game would take place in one of the last few surviving metropolises in the midwest; now controled by an unscrupelous enterpreneur. Despite his autocratic rule crime syndicates and numerous organizations continue to wage wars against each other.
You wouldn't have to know any more about the Dark Sun, Planescape, Fallout settings, than what you can read up on in the Wiki. So familiarity with either setting is not required.
