Soolee steps backward out of the room closing the door but not latching it. She looks at her comrades and says with sad concern in her voice,” Gents, The skeletons are being forced to do Evil. The spirits must still be around. I wonder if we can commune with them and maybe they can get control of what use to be their shells. What do you think, Tharwin?”

"Skeletons? Well I don't know a lot about the dark magics, but going by what we've seen already these bags of bones arn't really open to discussion." Taking a step back from the door as the scraping loudens.

"I know it may seem like we are disrupting the dead, though if we destroy their skeletons then surely their souls will pass on. They mean to kill us Soolee and I would hate to see you hurt again. Now brace yourself." I say firmly as I stand next to Soolee fists clenched and ready to act.

<span style="color:#cc6600">"I agree Mater," Solee states with renewed confidence. She raises her sword and kicks the unlatched door open.</span>

Magasark stands off to the side, defensive and watching carefully.

DM Note: Soolee, you can act first, I am keeping the same initiative.

Soolee marches into the room keeping an eye on the Skeltons as she move far enough in to let Tharwin and Narson enter the room if they chose.

Narson enters, looking over the creatures.

"I'd say they are... yes, most definitely deceased. I guess we should help them along the last leg of their journey..."

He raises his mace and prepares for battle.

Taking heed of Narson's words, I quickly sidestep past Soolee and pummel my fists into the nearest Skeleton.

Tharwin:

both your fists smash into the first skeleton, and crush it into a fine powder. Its remains drop about the floor with hollow rattling sounds.

The remaining two attack the monk (They had delayed their action until you guys came back in, and go after Tharwin now)

The first lands a blow with its sword striking true and into the monks mid region (8 points) The second swings blindly, scraping its blade along the wall near the monks head.

Soolee raises her sword and swings hard toward the one that just missed Tharwin scraping the wall, also

Soolee: your blade fails to meet its mark, and the resulting force you placed behind it effects you for the next round. (you take a -1 to attack roll next round)

Narson swings and connects with air, a strange look coming over his face.

The gash across my unarmored gut bleeds heavily, but coughing a little blood and taken a little aback. I strike forwards again, just with one fist this time as the other clutches my midrift.

Tharwin and Soolee:

Your blows beat another skeleton into the dust covered cobblestone. its skull rattles a little as it rolls across the floor.

Narson lands his mace across the skeleton's ribcage, giving it a great smash, many of the rib bones flying across the room. But still it stands. The skeleton swings at Narson, missing him only narrowly, the blade cutting off a lock of the bards hair.

Narson snarls and raises his mace, waiting.

Keeping a stern expression, and stumbling to the left after that strong right hook. I whip my fist back round in an uppercut, hoping to send on this last tortured soul. As I move the wound in my gut is aggravated and it takes everything to stop myself crying out in pain causing the blow to miss his mark as the skeleton shuffles about.

The skeleton seems to have an eye socket on the bard now, swinging towards his head. The blade only catches his check, sending the gnome reeling a foot, his left cheek bleeding now. He stares, his eye wide and mouth open.

The bard places himself in a defensive position, unsure of how to deal with this injury, even if it is insignificant.

Seeing her friends blood enrages the Elf girl. She raises her sword and hits hard feeling some bone give way.

Soolee:

You notice that your well placed blow seems to affect the creature normally, as if your blade had only made a normal penetration. Still it reels back from the force behind it.

The bard comes out of his defensive position to land a felling blow, taking the spinal chord of the creature out. It collapses, its bone white face looking to the sky as if yelling to the Gods.
