Ive wanted to try something out, and i know im a new member, but i would love to Game master a DnD 3.5 game with a few modifications. I dont know how active this site is, but i would like some interest shown before i commit much time to it, or if i can even Gm a game.

The humans, Orcs, halflings, and other shortrer lived races have been subjucated to lives as slaves by the longer lived races, such as the Elves, Dwarves, and Dragons. The game would center around a group of humans, orcs, half-orcs and maybe an elf or dwarf that believe in the freedom of these people, escaping and inciting a rebellion.

Interesting, are there half elves a well, or do they fall into the longer lived category? I may interested, but I will require a few specific things, which, if you get a forum for it, I will PM you about.

We need more .. then approach one of the Admins (I hear Woz, Knight of Roses or Skurvy are really friendly - not like that Barrok bloke who has some type of diseased ind that makes him think he is a vampire chicken... boc boc boc)
So you need to create some type of blurb.. perhaps a paragraph or two

Farinor is a land of Beauty. A land of rolling hills, towering mountains, and sprawling valleys. The beautiful forests and sprawling plains are enough to make an artist stay for his life. The Dragons of Farinor rule the low land areas with an Iron grip. The elves serve them in return for protection. The Dwarves rule the northern areas of Farinor and produce much of raw materials for the other countries. I would speak of the lands of man and tribes of orcs, but they do not exist. Humans and Orcs are slaves to the Elves and Dwarves, they live short lives (compared to elves, dwarves, and dragons) and reproduce prodigously. Half-Orcs are a recent development in the Slave trade, bred for their strength and lack of sheer stupidity (when compared to normal Orcs). Half-elves are rare, and when they are born, are shunned by their elven siblings and spend most of their time with the dwarves, where they are liked only a little better.
The game centers around a group of Humans, Orcs and Half orcs who seel freedom from their life of servitude. Psionics is their way. For the elves and dragons mastery of magic has left them quite vulnerable to a new form of attack, Psionics has developed secretly among the slave races, and they have honed their power until they were ready for their rebellion. that time is now.

I'd be up for a psionics campaign actually. Few GMs ever like to allow it in their games, so count me in. ECL? (please don't say 1 :glare: )

I like to join because of idea of the story based around the game is interesting and I like the whole idea of psionics vs magic. It should be interesting.

Sure, I don't mind playing with Psoinics, I merely dread DMing it. I'd be down for that.

When do you need them by? I am doing the final bit of my course, and that has to take priority over gaming for the moment, so if you don't need them for a few days, great, if you need them by tomorrow, then I guess I will have to back out. Let me know

I could be interested... could I be an elf who has developed psionics and in finding out about them has chosen to aid the freedom fighters?
