I was just wondering if anyone was planning on running any d20 game but would just want a couple of players. I guess its just my impatient side, but I'd love a really fast paced adventure where everyone can post like at 2-3 times a day, nearly everyday. Though I do understand it would be selfish to deny other players the chance to join in, I was just musing. :)

Have you thought about running a game with only a few players? That way, instead of constantly waiting for the others to post so you can, you will fill the time gaps with creating dungeons, traps, NPC's and a cool storyline.

Its a good idea, but I don't think Im experienced enough to DM my own homebrew adventure. I'd most likely just do a wizard's one. Though if no-one fancies running a small player count adventure, I guess I could run one...

Even in 8-12 hours of table top playing a game can move slow my young one, especially if you have 8 players. I have been in a play by email game for 14 months now but we are only three weeks into our adventure. Take the advice of the Count and then you will understand dear one. What the DMs go through to make these game exciting for all of us is very time consuming and taxing. I am in awe of them and wish I had their creative minds. Of course the players here at the Tower are fantasic as well and that includes you Scorch.

My dear Fera, you compliment us too well. Many DM's do it for the love of the game, something the both of you had. I mean with a little tutorial, I bet both of you could be astonishing DM's. I have read many of your posts within several adventures, and you both posses a flair for both the creative and the dramatic. If I could run a workshop online on intro DMing, I would definitely invite you two.

I just think you need a DM that says you need to post in a certain amount of time or you're out of the game (or give him a warning). Play by post can be some slow games some slow games or they can be very fast. Really it all depends on the DM.
