:ooc: For this first battle I will roll the initiatives, as I did with the goblin encounter, and after that all other initiatives will be rolled by players.
The three orcs shamble towards Tharwin, the stench of death and decay surrounding them. They appear unarmed, but the size of their arms indicate they could still cause some harm when they swing.
Narson: 22
Zombies: 23 ( a natural 20 in initiative always goes first)
Tharwin: 9
Soolee: 13
Magasark: 19
The orcs all shamble towards Tharwin in a sort of charge, though it is rather slow. All three swing at him.
Zombie 1: 14
Z2: 22 Dmg: 5
Z3: 7
The first zombie shambles in and swings, but Tharwin dodges the blow easily. Unfortunately, his switch of positions has left him accessible from the left side, where the second drives a rotted fist into Tharwin's side. Even while the monk reels from the blow, he easily dodges the third attack.
Narson sees this and raises an eyebrow, trying to figure out why these orcs are using the weapons around them... Not sure on what they are, since they are not howling or frothing, he aims his crossbow and fires at one.
1d20+5 = 16 Dmg: 7
Narson drives a bolt into the orc the struck Tharwin, staggering it back and severing several tendons. He grins as he reloads for his next attack.

:ooc: <span style="color:#993300">Could some please tell me if I did the round right? TIA :<3:
DM note: You can engage one, I assume the one already damaged, which is the one that hit Tharwin. You only roll initiative once for each encounter, unless you leave combat. Other than that, looks fine, and if you so desire, you can describe you action, if it misses, I will describe how cool it looked anyways.

The elven paladin charges forth to Tharwin's aid, and swings at the orc with the bolt protruding from it. Her blade finds home in its soft, rather mottled flesh, and slices through with some difficultly, but manages to sever one of its legs, and it collapses silently, it's lifeless eyes staring to the still sky.

I see three zombie orcs rushing towards my companions and I look up just in time to see one topple over and fall lifeless on the ground.
I grab up my crossbow and take aim at the first orc I see.

Magasark's bolt pinches into the motley orc's leg, and it does not waiver. Tharwin times his strikes to hit the orc twice in the chest, his fists driving through the orcish mass and dropping it to the ground...
The third orcish thing swings wide at Soolee,
Attack: 23
Dmg: 5
The fist of the undead creature catches the young elven paladin across the face, jarring her a moment. It reeks of fetid flesh and rotting innards.
Narson sees this and quickly fires off another shot at the orc thing.
Att: 15+5 = 20 dmg: 5
The bolt implants itself into the orc's lower leg, but it does not cry out, no even change it's vile facial expression.

:ooc: okay, another rule for future reference will be instituted in battles, which is for players to wait for my responses to each attack, including misses, then I don't have a scramble of blades and fists I have to sort through. Still, not a bad days work for all.
Magasark's bolt finds it home in the orcs throat, ripping out a few bits of rotted and fetid skin. It falls as Soolee raises her blade to strike into it's chest, followed by a roundhouse from the monk, taking out its legs and allowing it to crash down with a sickening thick thud.
Here in lies the end of combat....
