Maximillian here thou everyone calls me Max! I have been a loyal servant of Kord for 5 years and counting. You may ask how I became a servant of Kord? You might say that I was sought after for sometime by the powers that be. As a child I ran the streets without parents. I made my way by performing hard labor for the many different nobles throught the city.
Having done okay for myself I tried different avenues to earn my way around the world. I began in the arena as a gladiator, using my favorite weapon which was a great sword which not many could wield, I rose through the ranks and decided after 2 years to move on to more adventurous duties. I conducted many patrols around the city and even served in the militia 2 years, where I was awarded the highest wartime honour for defense of the city. By proving myself I made quite a name for myself.
The High Priest of Kord personally asked to see me at age 19 to have a meeting with him. He said for many years he has watched me develop into who I am today. He tells me of Kord and how it is ironic that I chose such a weapon as a great sword for my weapon of choice. I told him that I felt an affinity and the balance in my hands could not be matched by any other. After a time speaking with the High Priest I decided to take a vow and become a servant to Kord. I was placed as a priest and because of my background I asked to study the art of war for my Lord Kord. While studying the arts I found that I had another affinity towards the arcane arts, limiting as they were. I found I was connected to the art of necromancy. I laughed a little when I found this out. Quite ironic since I have sent many people to meet their own gods. Having served for for 5 years now, Kord has come to me in dreams showing me that I must take my talents and show others the greatness of Kord or show them the greatness of my sword.
