I am currently working on a campaign world and am creating a new form of mongrel folk known as mockrels. Now these are a little more potent than the former, as it will be explained in the histories of my world, so I was wondering what people thought. a brief breakdown is as such:

two races genetically fused together or mated through "science and wizardry" such as an elf and halfling

Thus it gets many of the elves and halflings bonuses and strengths, combined stat adjustments, an additional +2 to Con and -2 to charisma (working on this part still, have to see how the stats balance out). certain skill penalties such as diplomacy, gather information, bluff, intimidate, with a bonus to sense motive. Also their favored class can be either of their respective parents favored class. I was also leaning to a +1 natural armor and a level adjustment of +1. What does everyone think?

Here is what I have thus far, I haven't added the additional con or minus to cha since it seems it would really unbalance some of the races. Any ideas are welcome. I won't be introducing them into my world until I have my time line and the continents set up.

Elf Orc traits:

+4 str, +2 dex, -2 con, -2 int, -2 wis, -2 cha
Low light vision
Immunity to magical sleep effects
Entitled to a search check for a secret/concealed door.
Favored class: barbarian/wizard

Dwarven orc:

+4 str, +2 con, -2 int, -2 wis, -4 cha
Low light vision
Stonecutting: A +2 racial bonus on search for unusual stone work
Stability: +4 vs. bull rush and trip
A +2 bonus against poison
A +2 bonus to craft checks involving stone or metal working
Favored Class: Barbarian/fighter

Halfling Orc:

+2 str, +2 dex, -2 int, -2 wis, -2 cha
small
+2 to climb, jump, and move silently
Low light vision
+1 racial bonus to all saving throws
+2 racial bonus to listen
Favored class: barbarian/rogue

Kobold Orc:

+2 dex, -2 con, -2 int,
low light vision
+1 natural armor
small
favored class: sorcerer/barbarian

Gnome orc
+2 str, +2 con, -2 int, -2 wis, -2 cha
small
low light vision
+2 to listen checks
favored class: barbarian/bard


Elf dwarf
+2 dex, -2 cha

+2 racial bonus vs. spells

cha of at least 10: 1/day – dancing lights, ghost sound, prestidigitation

Elf Kobold:

+2 vs. enchantments
favored class: wizard/sorcerer
