Barrok's Demonic Lock Subversion
Enchantment (mind affecting) (compulsion)
Level: Sor/Wis 9
Components: V,S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Effect: One lock touched is enchanyed until discharged
Duration: Until discharged
Saving Throw: Will (partial)
Spell Resistance: No
Barrok thought explosive runes was a bit tedious, there needed to be another security spell available to wizards with some panache
This spell enchants a lock in a door, chest, book clasp etc that when it is unlocked the creature must make a will save as te3ndrils of whispy black smoke invade their facial orifices. The creature is dazed for 1d4 rounds and if un successful they cannot resist Barrok's specific foul machinations of this spell. Their alignment shifts to Chaotic Evil and they are compelled to try to access the 73rd layer of the Abyss "Wells of Darkness" and try to release the first imprisoned being they find. Once this completed the spell ends and they can regain their normal alignment via a successful atonement spell. Nothing short of deific intervention can stop this spell (A wish or a miracle).
