Craft Bread
[Item Creation]
Prerequisites: Spell Caster of at least 5th level
Benefits: The spellcaster can craft special magical breads. The breads themselves can take upto a 6th level spell which has to contain either Abjuration, Transmutation or Healing magic. A loaf of bread will typically last 6 weeks and have 1d10 slices when created.
The cost of making a loaf will be the same as a potion but with up to 10 slices (charges).

What flavor bread is it? Can it last longer if you put it into something with ice and freeze it? It should be wrapped at all times.
This may sound goofy, but I do have a problem with this one. (Not because I am a baker, mind you)
The best way to explain it is to give an example. (Yeah, example time!!!)
Juliette has a ring. It is the banquet table ring. (It can be found here! (http://barroks-tower.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=857)) It creates food. Yeah! Now, the effect is not my concern. Somebody had to MAKE that ring. Now, they did not do it by saying "I want a ring. <Poof> There! It is made." That person had to get special material that could hold magic, take it to his shop and actually CREATE the ring. That is not a feat, really, either, it is a skill (craft). Who is to say that the person creating had has any magical ability? The ring could have been created and then somebody with magical abilities could then embue the ring with the spells of his choice.
First you have to gather the ingredients to bake a loaf of bread (or just buy one). Then you must alchemically prepare it to hold spells. Then somebody with the proper spells casts them into the item.
I agree that the bread lasts only a certain amount of time, since there are living things inside the bread and they do change the make up of the bread after a certain amount of time.
Base line (wow, this all sounds so silly!) is this: if you can magically <poof> create bread (by using a feat, too!! Honestly, it should be a spell) then at what point will it stop> Next people will want to have a feat that can magically create armor and swords and all cool items.
<poof>

No with this feat you can just imbue special ingrediants in certain breads to have magical properties (such as dwarven waybread etc) this feat was going to be for one of the next supplements where I was going to concentrate on food.

"Mr. Gambini, that is a lucid, intelligent, well-though out objection."
"Thank you, Your Honor."
"Overruled."

I love lucid well thought out responces. The Craft Bread is basically a souped up Craft Potion feat but with some restrictions.

Which begs the question of why not simply say you can use Brew Potion to make magical breads as well?
But if you want to stick with this feat, first of all it is an item creation feat not metamagic.
Why only healing and abjuration spells? Why not transmutation (stat enhancement, enlarge, polymorph)?
You need to work out the cost, which I would place as the same as a potion, per use of bread (call it a slice, loaf, whatever) and allow up to 10 uses to be made at once.
