Hello people

Whats up people?

I received an invite about a week ago but hadn't gotten around to checking this place out yet until today.

What can I say about myself? Let's see, I started playing DnD about 2 years ago off and on. I've DMed a few campaigns, put I wound much rather be playing the thing than running it, if you know what I mean. I haven't be able to play recently because I moved and haven't been able to find a new group.

I've only played the basic DnD 3.5 campaign, tweaked to fit our needs/wants of course, but am vaguely familiar with the Forgotten Realms setting and intimately familiar with the Dragonlance and Wheel of Time worlds. I know Wheel of Time isn't technically DnD, but is is D20 and it is a good fantasy setting. By the way, the business with Robert Jordan's death sucks, doesn't it. :sob: I sure hope they get someone to finish the series.

Anyways, I'm also starting school soon in a game design program.

Well, thats about all I can think of for now.

Nice to meet ya and all that. Have a good lok around the forums and I am sure we have stuff which would tickle anyone's fancy (though I have to admit I do not go around fancy tickling as that just sounds plainly rude!) We have a whole heap of resources, games, people chatting about the biggest fish they came into contact with through the medium of folk dancing and other strange bits of weirdness.

I'm rather partial to elves :elf: and wizards :wizard:, evokers in particular (couldn't you tell by my YahooID, "elven_evoker" :grin: )
I've got three main characters that I usually play with. Aramil Xilodon, a 10th Lv Grey Elf Evoker; Cyis, a 7th Lv Drow Evoker; and Vaddi Ebern, a Human fighter with multiple incarnations across several levels (one from a custom campaign with unique races)
It would be nice to have a class that neatly merged the wizard/sorcerer and fighter classes together, but no DM in their right mind would do such a thing. Too powerful!!!

As for most hated race, hmmm, lets see. . . it would have to be either halflings or gnomes. I can't stand either one, they're too weak.

Cleric and warlock until you can get the "thurge diciple" or something like that, constant once per round evocations, and a clarics armor/fighting ability. plus good clarics can send out a healing blast occasionaly as well. (Complete Mage, prestiege class, pg. ??)

Also, Barrok, I found your fancy feather tickler, it was in this back room with your old body, a dinning table set for two, ant this blow up.... :swoon: :blink: nevermind.

Aramil...nice name...Arimil Silvermoon will likely like it as well. Aramil is how we used to spell it back in the day. Aramil's Narcolepsy was one of our favorite spells. Welcome to the tower and hope to see you around.
