Mikado – Bardic Villain – Level 13 Human Bard
From every kind of man obedience I expect.

You don’t need a mythical land of Japan to have this actor turned villain to show up, in fact it probably makes more sense that he is only a ruler of land that only exists on stage. Still he has enough charisma to make everyone follow his fantasy. Let the punishment fit the crime!

does he have a normal instrument in case the summon instrument spell has been used?

The mini that originally inspired him doesn't have one. On the other hand, when you have 30 1st level followers I'm sure that one of them might be employed as the instrument carrier. :top:

ahh... so what does he play?

That's a good question. Idealy he shouldn't have one. Song and Silence had such a variant.

My guess would be the bagpipe ... only the Irish variety that uses a bellows and not a blowpipe allowing him to sing while his arm pumps up the instrument. Between the strange movements of his arm and his many interruptions in his singing for meinanichal laughter, he can be quite a scary sight. In Song and Silence bagpipes impose a -1 morale penalty on listeners against fear effects.

very interesting. thank you for your response. i see no problem in the choice of either the irish or scottish one, which i both have tried once i think

The Description for the Mikado included a cohort Katisha, so here she is.

Katisha – Sorcererous Villain – Level 12 Human Sorcerer
My face is unattractive! But I have a left shoulder-blade that is a miracle of loveliness. People come miles to see it. My right elbow has a fascination that few can resist.

From a technical point she is the cohort of the Mikado a level 13 Human Bard. You don’t need a mythical land of Japan to have this bard and cohort sorcerer show up, in fact it is probably better that any pretense of royalty they have exist only in their own minds.

So now I'm sure that you have been wondering, "who in his right mind would stat Gilbert and Sullivan actors for D&D?" Well, actually, I painted Gilbert and Sullivan actors for a Reaper mini exchange and I stated them because ... well stats and figs just go together. But hey, only the select few of Barrok's Tower and of course the lovely lady I pained the minis for (well I suppose she showed the stats to her husband) have seen them stated. But since you have not seen the minis I would like to present the happy duo at this time.
