This strange-looking construct appears to be made of leaves. No real features are apparent save the outline, which looks vaguely humanoid. Small red berries dangle off its form.
The holly golem is a strange entanglement of nature and magic. It originated when a group of druids converted a powerful wizard to nature worship. The holly golem is primarily employed by druids even though it is mostly built by wizards.
Combat: The golem uses its holly berries as much as possible. If advantagous, it uses the mastery over plants it has to disrupt opponents until holly berries can be used again.
Holly berries(Sp): Once every 1d4 rounds, the golem can pluck 1d6+2 of it's holly berries and use them as per the Fire Seeds spell. The golem can use its command plants ability as a free action to roll the berries up to 40ft, in different directions if desired. Dentonation is activated by a mental command of the golem(a free action). This ability is considered to be at 9th caster level.
Command plants(Su): In an area of light forest or greater vegetation, the golem can use a standard action to duplicate the effects of entangle cast at 9th level. This ability can be used to manipulate holly berries as a free action (see above).
Magic Immunity: The golem is immune to all magic(unbeatable SR) except against the following spells.
A diminish plant spell cast against the golem slows it for 1d6 rounds.
A blight spell deals 5d6 damage(no save).
Fire magic affects the golem normally except for the following: Fire seeds, flame strike, flame blade. In addition, a damaging fire effect has a 1% per damage point suffered of dentonating 3d4 holly berries, dealing full damage to everyone within 10ft. The golem is immune to it's own fire seeds effects.
A control plants spell negates the golem's command plants ability for the duration of the spell.
