The Harrower

The Harrower was a sickle gifted to Barrok by Azun, a high lord of the Positive Energy Plane for rescuing his daughter from the Jail Demi Plane which he constructed, never since has the Harrower left his sideand it is said that any person taking the oath to be an Auditor must pledge it on the sickle.


Harrower, +5 disrupting keen outsider-bane undead-bane sickle

When Harrower hits a target they must make a will save vs DC18 or be Immediately transported to the Jail Demi plane of the Auditors. This power can be used 3 times per week. If the attck fails when stated that the power is going to be used then that charge is expended for the week.


All those who say the oath of alligence to The Auditors whilst touching the sicke aree counted to be under a geas/quest spell (DC40)
it is rumoured to have also spoken twice, though Barrok dismisses these rumours.

As an artifact, balance isn't really an issue for this. My only comment is that the fact that it is only +3 vr Auditors is rather trivial; he's their leader, so you wouldn't expect him to be battling them that often anyway, and really I'd think it would be more effective against them since they swore an oath on it...

I was thinking of writing in something about Auditors who have broken their oath.. something like them being erradicated.

As Mask says, it is an artifact, so balance is not really an issue.

The standard form write of it would be something like:
Harrower, +5 disrupting keen outsider-bane undead-bane sickle

You could allow it to cast geas/quest on those who touch the blade and take an oath.

which leaves N & CN

as Enmesh has LG, Barrok is NE and currently making another character for The Mistress CG

and Mask and Acolyte are doing a mad bartering session over LE and CE

The Harrower I think needs a rewrite to then included in the Barrok build. Doe s anyone have anymore ideas for the Sickle. I have been think that over the time it has spent with Barrok that it has become corrupted.. so thoughts? Powers? Suggestions?
