If D&D classes are based on Stereotypes in the common fantasy media (I.E books and 80s cartoons) then by right Modern Advanced Classes should be based on Stereotypes in the common modern media (like reality) but we get things like brave soldiers, cool martial artists and devout worshippers that turn zombies, thus I am here to right this terrible wrong.

(I couldn't find a space for this in the D20 forum, prestige classes and classes don't exactly fit but any moderator may move it where he pleases, note that this is a joke thread)

Talk Show Host

Long ago in the Mid West the terrible seed of the god of bulls was planted creating, laying the foundation for the fruits that would emerge centuries later. Ancient, bald and obese, these mighty collosus of bull conquered humanity's air waves and contaminated it with their common appearance and agenda, to serve forever as a colourful reminder of humanity's genial decline.

Requirements

To qualify to become a Talk Show Host, a character must fulfill the following criteria.

Skills: Bluff 10 ranks, Craft(Bull) 5 ranks.

Must not have the following Feats: Trustworthy, Athlethic

Reputation: the character should start at 0 fame but must have been famous once

Special: the character must have the morality of a Dinosour that punts chickens just to watch them cry

The character must be either morbidly obese/old or bald, or any combination of the three

Class Information

The following information pertains to the Talk Show Host advanced class.

Hit Die: The Talk Show Host is denied extra hit points by the gods.

Action Points: The Talk Show Host does not believe in action, it denies their occupation.

Class Skills: The Talk Show Host's class skills are as follows -- Bluff (Cha), Craft(bull)(Int), Drive (Dex), Escape Artist (Dex), Knowledge (current events, popular culture, streetwise, lame jokes) (Int), Read/Write Language (Release Documents), Ride (Dex), Speak Language (Lies), Spot (Wis).

Skill Points at Each Level: 20 + Int modifier.

Class Features

The following features pertain to the Talk Show Host advanced class.

Attract Broken Human Being: At 1st level, A talk show host gains the ability to summon 1D4 particapants for their show.

Aura of Stupidity: At 2nd level, the Talk Show Host induces anyone within 10 metres to act as if in a drunken rage.

Defensive Position: Starting at 4th level, the Talk Show Host doesn't become legally liable for anything that happens on their show.

Famous?: Starting at 5th level and evert two levels after that, the Talk Show Host gains one point of fame for no good reason.

Operation: At 7th level, a Talk Show Host undergoes televised plastic surgery which results in a +2 to Charisma and +10 Wealth in book sales.

Become President: At 10th level, the Talk Show Host gains leadership of their country of Origin.



Feel free to add your own true D20 modern advanced classes, even if you've never played the game before, feel free to use the above class as a template and make up your own skills/feats.

Advanced Classes are pretty much the same thing as Prestige Classes go, so you can feel safe to post any further Modern ACs there :)

I like your idea though, might try to think up some of my own :D
